PROJECT 2A | FRANSWORTH HOUSE
PROJECT 2A - ORTHOGRAPHIC PROJECTION
In this project, we are required to draw a floor plan, elevation and cross section of Farnsworth House. We are required to include sufficient evidence to show that we are competent in a range of architectural drafting skills in this project.
REFLECTION
I have just realised that using technical pens requires a lot of skills to handle them. It was amazing how the fine lines were produced as I started inking. I have learned to communicate with clarity and accuracy using line weight through different pen thickness to present information, depth and elements on the plans and elevation as well as sections.

PROJECT 2B - AXONOMETRIC PROJECTION
Im this project, we are required to produce an axonometric projection of Farnsworth House by referring to our orthgraphic projection measurements. We also need to generate a sectional axonometric drawing showing both interior and exterior of the building.
REFLECTION
I have learnt what axonometric projections are used. I have also learnt how to use different thickness of lineweight for every parts of the drawing. It is very important to have different lineweights to express spatial ideas and architectural detail in three-dimension.

PROJECT 2C - PERSPECTIVE DRAWINGS
This project introduces perspective as a mode of communication in architecture. We are required to construct firstly, one exterior (two-point) perspective followed by one sectional interior perspective (one-point). We are required to choose a view which best shows the Farnsworth House.
REFLECTION
Through this project, I have learnt the ways of constructing a two-point perspective drawing. It was not an easy task as I have did a few tries to find the best angle to view the Farnsworth House. Besides that, this project has taught me to express spatial ideas and architectural detail in three-dimension, in the format of one-point and two-point perspectives. I have also improved the techniques of using technical pen when inking this drawing.
